Talking Zombies With “Young Hollywood”

I spoke with Young Hollywood at the premiere party for BlackBoxTV a couple of weeks ago. Here is my slightly scandalous interview spot where I mention a “zombie threesome.” Doh. LOL!

My Latest Shenanigans

It’s been a busy April full of events, and I wanted to share some of the highlights with you all!

1. The “BlackBoxTV” Premiere Party.

The amazing team at “BlackBoxTV” has relaunched this incredible series with a fabulous new batch of horror/triller/sci-fi themed content. “BlackBoxTV” has also added some stellar producers to the team including Anthony Zuiker (creator of CSI) and Carly Feingold (co-producer Scream 4).

I was also interviewed by Young Hollywood while zombies tried to eat me!

I’m very honored that I was able to be a part of this phenomenal series when mastermind Tony E. Valenzuela first began telling these incredible stories. In honor of BlackBoxTV’s relaunch, this is the episode I guest starred in a year or so ago titled “She Deserved It” written by Bernie Su and starring Sean Michael Afable.

2. “Gwapa” Film Fundraiser

I attended a fundraiser for the film “Gwapa” earlier this month.

This documentary film by Thirsty Girl Films is very close to my heart as it “follows a poor Filipino family’s struggle for a healthy future and a mother’s remarkable journey to help her three kids with facial deformities.”

I spent my pre-school years living in the Philippines and this cause is very important to me. If you are interested in learning more about it, please check out their website.

3. LA Web Fest 2012

Barry and I sat on a panel at the LA Web Fest to talk about producing our animated series “Girl and Boy.” We had a fabulous time and Barry was also honored with an award for writing in the Animation category.

“Girl and Boy” is also currently being featured on Dailymotion’s front page as part of MotionMaker featured content.

and 4. “Party of the Gods”

I went to a fabulous party thrown by fellow Geek Girls Create panelist Kristen Nedopak with an Atlantis “Party of the Gods” theme. This was my rockin’ costume:

Hope you are all well, and wishing you a fabulous spring season!

American Reunion Premiere

I had an amazing time last night at the premiere for American Reunion from Universal.
Helenna Santos Levy at the American Reunion Premiere

The film is HILARIOUS. If you are a fan of the franchise and/or an R-rated comedy lover, you will absolutely flip over what Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Scholssberg have come up with for this installment.

(with writer/director Jon Hurwitz)

(with writer/director Hayden Schlossberg)

American Reunion has so many incredible moments that are funny and touching and flat out fantastic!

(with the always lovely Mena Suvari)

(with the gorgeous MILF Jennifer Coolidge)

(with John Cho aka. MILF Guy #2)

The film opens April 6th and you should definitely get your butt into a seat at a theater near you and I’m not just saying this because I have a small part in it ;)

Go! No, RUN to the theater. Your funny bone will thank you.

See you there ;)

WonderCon and #geekgirlscreate

WonderCon was fantastic this past weekend and I was so honored to have sat on a panel with my fellow geeky ladies for Geek Girls Create! This is the same group of amazing ladies that I was on a panel with at Comikazee this past fall. I love each of these women to pieces and am inspired by them everyday. “Whatever you can do,or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.”

We were even interviewed by TheOneRing.net for a promo piece that will be aired in Dubai to celebrate their first ever Comic Con! Such and honor!

Thank you WonderCon for a PHENOMENAL weekend! Video coming soon!
